Indie team Geometric Interactive made an impressive debut in 2023 withCOCOON,one of the years best games, and news about the teams next title is beginning to emerge. No, it hasnt been announced, but at the recent Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025, we did get the first, very brief details about the project.Annapurna Interactive, which publishedCOCOON, will also serve as Geometric Interactives second game, the two announced at the showcase. No specific details on the title were revealed, but Geometrics audio director and composer Jakob Schmid says it will be unlike anything weve ever worked on before.Prior toCOCOON,members of Geometric Interactives development team were part of Playdead, where they worked onLimboandInside. That the teams next title is going to be entirely different from each of those games doesnt tell us much, but that track record does earn some trust, at least.
