Unfortunately, sudden tragic news has stricken the industry: its parent, Technicolor Group, is shutting down together with its subsidiaries MPC, The Mill, Mikros Animation, and Technicolor Games.As reported by Variety, Technicolor started sending warnings to customers and employees on Friday, saying the company faced "severe financial challenges." Alas, the worries became a sad reality, and Technicolor began closing its studios.
