Crossplay in Monster Hunter Wilds allows you to play multiplayer with friends on another platform whether its PlayStation 5, Windows PC, or Xbox Series X.While the feature was automatically enabled for us, if youre having a hard time connecting with your cross-platform buddies or you want to turn off this feature we got your back. Below we explain how to enable or disable crossplay in Monster Hunter Wilds.How to enable or disable crossplay in Monster Hunter WildsTo enable or disable crossplay in Monster Hunter Wilds, youll need to do the following:Open the options from the title screen.In the game settings tab, scroll down until you get to crossplay.Enable or disable it, depending on what you want to do.Note that this setting is only available from the home menu before you start playing the game. While you can open your options after youve selected your character, this toggle will not appear.If youre already playing, theres a further toggle to disable players from other platforms on a session-by-session basis. You can find this setting if you do the following:Enter your tent (at whatever base camp, it doesnt matter).Scroll through the menu options until you get to Quest Menu.Select Post/Join Quest.Select Settings.Scroll down to Platform Permissions and turn on All Platforms if you want crossplay to be on. If you want crossplay turned off, select Your Platform.We were able to access our tent and these settings pretty early in the game, as youre required to go into your tent during the Chapter 1-2 of the main story.Does Monster Hunter Wilds have cross-save or cross-buy?No, Monster Hunter Wilds does not have the ability to transfer progress or game purchases between platforms.
