Getty Images/XFor years, speculation swirled that President Trump's name would surface in Jeffrey Epstein's infamous black book, so when the House Judiciary GOP's official X account teased a major revelation from the long-awaited Epstein Files, the internet braced for impactonly to be Rickrolled with a link to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up"."#BREAKING: EPSTEIN FILES RELEASED: https://tinyurl.com/EpsteinFilesV2," the House Judiciary GOP account tweeted Thursday.The TinyURL link, instead, redirects to the official "Never Gonna Give You Up" music video on YouTube."I absolutely love a good Rick Roll, but when discussing the child sex trafficked and their ruined lives, this is not the time," said one user."This isn't funny," another added."Glad you guys find this amusing. We don't," another wrote.Others questioned if the account had been hacked.The political circus comes amid the anticipated Thursday release of the Epstein files. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed records include "flight logs, names, and a lot of information." Bondi told Fox News Wednesday more than 250 victims had been documented, adding that the details were "pretty sick."Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, leading the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets wrote:"I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today... A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein's phonebook. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!"Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was accused of running a vast trafficking network that ensnared underage girls and involved powerful figures from politics, business, and entertainment. His connections to power players, including Trump, have long raised eyebrows. Trump, who once described Epstein as a "terrific guy" in a 2002 interview, later distanced himself, claiming they had a falling out years before Epstein's 2019 arrest and subsequent death in a Manhattan jail cell."The Epstein list is going to be released and much more is coming. There is currently a war raging within. The resistance within will be beaten and the truth will be revealed," said Rep.
