Check out how we test and review games hereWhile Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl released with some massive issues, the core feeling of the survival game was (and still is) fantastic. However, as players mod the game to add in Dishonoured superpowers and powerful dodge mechanics, the game can also become a sandbox for some truly awesome mods. One popular mod, dubbed STALKOUR, was one of the first mods to give players access to improved clambering near release. However, with the new STALKOUR 2.0 mod launch, players now have more movement options than ever before, and its pretty damn great.Stalker 2 STALKOUR mod is awesomeCreated by modder ModsBySabre, the STALKOUR 2.0 mod is an enhanced version of the original mod that gives players much better movement options within the Zone. For starters, the climbing height for Skif (the playable character) has been increased by three times, allowing players to clamber up walls and reach hiding spots easier. Additionally, players can vault over a tonne more objects, allowing you to make use of a mechanic that is largely useless in the base game due to its limitations. To complete the parkour-theme, the modder has also massively decreased fall damage in the game. This means that you can run and jump across buildings, shipping crates and the like with ease while also avoiding damage you otherwise wouldve taken. The mod makes avoiding mutated animals a lot easier, and also generally gives you a bit more freedom that Id love to have seen in the base game. While this mod doesnt turn Stalker 2 into something like Dying Light, it is a slightly different way to play, and can drastically alter your approach. Now that its easier to get on top of buildings, sniper-focused playthroughs feel a little better as you can more easily find a great position to shoot from.Of course, if you feel this makes the game too easy, you can simply not install it. Additionally, and more helpfully, other modders have created some truly difficult takes on Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. For example, the recent Desolation mod gives players an almost masochistic level of difficulty to play through.S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of ChornobylPlatform(s):PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox Series XGenre(s):Action, Adventure, RPG, Shooter, Survival HorrorSubscribe to our newsletters!By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy Policy and may receive occasional deal communications; you can unsubscribe anytime.Share
