Bad Guitar Studios free-to-play competitive shooter FragPunk is out today for PC. However, its been delayed for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 to an unknown date.The developer confirmed this is due to unexpected technical challenges in optimization and adaptation. Instead of rushing the console release and providing a potentially poor user experience, its delaying the console versions to ensure a comparable experience to the PC version.On the bright side, the developer has prepared extensive compensation. Players who pre-ordered the Pioneer Bundle on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store will receive refunds alongside $10 worth of free in-game currency. Though a new pre-order isnt planned, the bundle will become available again for a limited time after the console versions launch.If thats not enough, console players will receive all rewards earned in-game spanning the start of Season 1 until the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions go live.
