Bungie has just announced 12 new weapons and an awesome new mode for Heresy Act 3, meanwhile, leaks suggest Marathon is set to be unveiled soon with pre-order bonus DLC for D2. While fans are excited about the imminent launches of Heresy Act 2 and then Act 3, some Destiny 2 players fear that a newly discovered annoying stealth buff is intentional rather than a bug.Destiny 2 fans fear stealth Taken Phalanx buff is intentionalWe recently reported about an annoying stealth buff discovered by the Destiny 2 community. The buff relates to the Taken Phalanx, and, as reported by a lot of players, they are more oppressive as they now hold shields in front of them rather than to their side, which completely obscures their head and covers most of their body.Following this discovery, another D2 player on Reddit has shared that The new Taken Phalanx shield AI also affects the first boss of Prophecy. Per the OP, XxXc00l_dud3XxX, Taken Phalanxes now hold their shields like Cabal Phalanxes do, making it much harder to kill them [and] The first boss of Prophecy is also like this, making DPS phases nigh impossible solo since you can basically only shoot his foot. The OP claims they have been trying to solo flawless all the dungeons, but its become almost impossible [as] Celestial Nighthawk super damage is pretty much the only damage I can get on him, making the fight drag on and on.In response to the OP, one of the top upvoted comments says, I just really hope this whole thing is a bug that will get fixed and not an intentional change to enemy behavior. Its super annoying against every Taken Phalanx, and it has affected every single one in the game to my knowledge, boss or otherwise. While nothing is confirmed, players are worried that the stealth buff is intentional rather than a bug. As stated by one of the comments, With Prophecy being part of Rite of the Nine, I bet you its not a bug. Its a stealth buff.Another comment says, Remember before Pantheon launched, everyone was reporting the unusual bug in KingsFall raid where two people were getting the exploding buff at the Ogre boss, well turned out it was intentional two weeks before Pantheon.Unfortunately, Bungie hasnt responded to the Taken Phalanx change on either BungieHelp or Destiny2Team socials like they often do with bugs. Hopefully it is a bug that will be changed in the next or a future update, but right now Bungie has not addressed the matter. For more Destiny 2, players are gettingunreleased weaponsno one is supposed to get yet, and leaks have revealed an 80% damage buff perk and weaponpre-order bonuspresumably for Apollo.Destiny 2Platform(s):Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Web, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/XGenre(s):Action, Adventure, First Person, Massively Multiplayer, Shooter8VideoGamerRelated TopicsDestiny 2 Subscribe to our newsletters!By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy Policy and may receive occasional deal communications; you can unsubscribe anytime.Share
