Now, a new trademark might have confirmed it's still in the studio's thoughts, however.Content cannot be displayed without consentAs spotted by Gematsu, a new trademark has been spotted for Dino Crisis in Japan, and it was filed this month (March 4).The trademark, for games on multiple formats, was applied for by Capcom Co Ltd, and published on March 12.While it doesn't mean Capcom necessarily wants to do something with the IP, it's possible it's been building up to this for some time.It may not look like it now, but this was intense(Image: Capcom)Capcom recently ran a poll asking about potential remakes, with Dino Crisis featured in the list, while Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 were added to game preserving storefront GOG.com at the start of 2025.The first Dino Crisis launched in 1999 on the original PlayStation, following a special operations agent, Regina, as she navigates what are essentially the labs from Jurassic Park.The second game saw things get further into time travel and added Dylan as a second playable character, while Dino Stalker saw the series turn to a lightgun game (remember those?).Article continues belowFinally, Dino Crisis 3 is set in the year 2548 and truly jumps the shark.
