Despite the announcement of another new game, Saber Interactive COO Tim Willits explained that previously announced games, like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, are still in active development.With a large number of games announced by the studio in recent years, including a new title based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jurassic Park, Turok and more, Saber hasnt dropped any announced game at the time of writing.Knights of the Old Republic and more are still in developmentIn a statement to fans on Twitter, Sabers chief creative officer Tim Willits urged fans that no announced titles have been scrapped at the studio.Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world, the Saber Interactive COO explained. We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share.As one of the studios most anticipated titles outside of the just-announced Space Marine 3, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has been in development for years. After moving into full development at Saber back in 2022, news has been non-exists for the title.Nevertheless, Saber is still actively working on Knights of the Old Republic alongside a slew of other games. While it may still be years until we see KOTOR hit store shelves, theres hope that we will see real gameplay sometime soon.The next game to release from Saber is John Carpenters Toxic Commando, a cross-platform co-op FPS inspired by the infamous 80s movie. Set to release later this year, the title is Sabers only release scheduled for 2025.
