This release focuses on the Dash Content Browser, which is now free to everyone, meaning you can have easy access to FAB, Poly Haven, and the Centralized Asset experience. With Dash 1.9, you can effortlessly browse, search, and drag and drop assets into all your Unreal Engine projects.Dash 1.9 introduces the new Collection system and tagging features, allowing you to organize assets more efficiently. The update also enhances search functionality with support for semantically close names, better handling of misspellings, and the ability to use + and operators.DashVersion 1.9 introduces some exciting new shaders to Dash, including a revamped water shader. Users have long requested a water shader with waves and underwater effects, and now its finally here. Simply head to the Create tab, select the Advanced Water shader, and there you have it. This shader also includes a rain-on-water effect for added realism.DashDashIf youd like to add leaves falling in a specific direction, thats now possible with the new Create Falling Leaves feature. Beautifully designed leaves, complete with all the settings needed for nearly any scenario, can now be easily integrated into your scene.DashDash 1.9 also introduces its first Runtime Virtual Texture (RVT) workflow, which works best with Dash terrains or Unreal Engine 5 Landscapes.
