Since its release, the game quickly got more than a million players in its first day alone. Just a couple of days later, Ubisoft had confirmed that 2 million players had played Assassins Creed Shadows. It is worth noting that, since the company didnt reveal sales figures, these numbers likely take into account the ability to play the title through Ubisofts own subscription service.More recently, with weekly sales figures coming out for various regions, Assassins Creed Shadows managed to top the UK market in terms of physical copies sold. The concurrent player count on Steam peaked at more than 41,000 players on launch, putting it ahead of every other title in the franchise aside from Assassins Creed Odyssey. Since then, Shadows has overtaken the concurrent player counts for Odyssey, and at the time of writing, is sitting at an all-time peak of more than 64,000 concurrent players. For more details on Assassins Creed Shadows, check out our review, where we gave the title a score of 9 out of 10.
