This release includes minor updates.Fifth consecutive update with no new features listedAlthough Autodesk did previously put out more substantial releases, Mudbox 2026 is now the fifth consecutive annual update with no new features listed in the release notes.Weve contacted Autodesk to ask if there is a list of specific changes, and if Mudbox will ever get significant new features in future, and will update if we hear back.Cost of monthly subscriptions falls back to 2022 levelsHowever, while Autodesk raised the prices of most of its Media & Entertainment products in January, the price of Mudbox actually dropped, at least for a monthly subscription.The monthly rental cost fell from $15/month to $10/month, although the price of annual subscriptions remains unchanged.Pricing and system requirementsMudbox 2026 is available for Windows 10+, RHEL/Rocky Linux 8.10/9.3/9.5, and macOS 13.0+.
