The season will bring a wealth of new content, from Emma Frost as a new hero to a new map. On top of this, NetEase will release several gameplay changes, including buffs and nerfs. Interestingly, the game developer will also shake up maps, removing a couple of them from the competitive play.As revealed in the trailer, the new map will have a Hellfire Gala theme. It will be a Domination map, which will be available on the first day of the new season.Which maps will be removed from Marvel Rivals in Season 2?The Marvel Rivals developer will remove two maps from the competitive play in Season 2: Yggsgard: Royal Palace and Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya. Considering that the first map is Domination, this doesnt come as a surprise, as it will be replaced by Hellfire Gala: Krakoa. However, Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya is a Convergence map, which may indicate that NetEase will release another map of the same type later in the season.Its important to note that these map changes will only affect ranked play in Season 2 of Marvel Rivals. Quick Play will have every map in its rotation, including the two removed from competitive.Season 2 of Marvel Rivals will bring another Domination map.
