Basically Twitter users would vote on who would be able to escape, and you could tie the vote to allow both characters to escape. Whole thing was hilarious. In the final round it was Iris against a pretty endearing character. No one believed they would actually kill Iris, so it led to her losing the vote and essentially disappearing, while Kairo was set free.
