While the theme had already been leaked earlier, this marks the first time Epic has acknowledged it. Alongside the confirmation, the developer also shared exciting details about what’s arriving in early May. Epic revealed all the big stuff during the third day of the Star Wars Celebration event, on Saturday night Eastern Time. Fortnite x Star Wars is coming with Season 3 The upcoming two weeks will be massive for Fortnite players. The current season will conclude with a live event and introduce us to a Star Wars storyline in Season 3. Interestingly, the next season will be one of the shortest, lasting only five weeks. The trailer confirms the Star Wars theme and shows many other fantastic things coming to the game, including the following: Huge map changes with Star-Wars-themed POIs New vehicles and weapons Star Wars powers (one of them being Force Lightning) TIE fighters Lightsabers Many new skins Darth Sidious Darth Jar-Jar Mace Windu New Mandalorian skin Wookie Team Leader Jedi and Sith Evie skins Different events Star Destroyer Bombardment Death Star Sabotage New gameplay elements and surprises to come every week Interestingly, some of the most important aspects of the next season were leaked in mid-March, including its theme and a couple of Battle Pass skins.
