I saw a video of the game running on an RTX 4080, and it struggles to maintain 60 FPS at 4K, even with DLSS set to Balanced and RTX on Low. Why do they keep forcing native ray-tracing ? It makes no sense. Edit : View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3X35hUcoqk&t=  GameAddict411 Member Oct 26, 2017 9,929 Tamaa said: The PC performance looks just as bad as it did with Outlaws. Regardless of that you have to consider that this game uses the equivalent of nanite for its opaque geometry. Not having noticable LOD changes for such things has a cost higher than having constant LOD popin changes. (even then you can adjust the quality of the nanite equivalent in the option to make it pop more).  Tamaa Member May 16, 2021 1,218 GameAddict411 said: You video you linked is of a an RTX 4070 and not a an RTX 4080 Click to expand... The 4070 Ti is more powerful, I believe, so it should run even better. I just want to say that after KCD 2's stellar optimization (at least compared to recent PC games) ACS looks pretty rough. Click to expand... Click to shrink... ACS is doing a lot more under the hood to make its graphics work, it is a lot more fine grained. That quality has a cost. Also for the love of god everyone, do not use the "ultra highest" settings in this game unless you have top tier kit. The RTGI scales from Low to Ultra High for a reason, so you can get RTGI at a much cheaper cost.  J_ToSaveTheDay "This guy are sick" and Corrupted by Vengeance Avenger Oct 25, 2017 22,205 USA Curious to see how the new 9070XT GPUs are handling this game with RTGI and RT reflections on. I'm feeling more and more compelled to return to PC gaming, and that feeling keeps climbing in the urge to do it sooner than later. If SteamOS can get a desktop debut by the end of the year (yes, I am aware of the existence of Bazzite but still have a mental block against "non-OEM" operating systems), I am currently curious how far I can take a full AMD build system, but I'm especially curious about games with RTGI as the intentional art style -- Indiana Jones seemed to fare okay on 9070 XT reviews that featured it, but still want to see results on other new games. I think I'd be targeting a AMD 9800X3D CPU+9070XT GPU build with 1440p resolution target in mind... I'm hoping to more or less avoid Windows and nVidia if I make a return. I'll probably eventually install Windows on its own separate drive, but a lot of what is driving me back toward PC gaming is my Steam Deck ownership and SteamOS, so SteamOS desktop rumors is kind of the last piece of the puzzle I need. SteamOS' quality of life by unifying a lot of system-level and hardware-level settings seamlessly within its own UI is kind of the entire thing that's really selling me on PC gaming again. The other thing I'm hoping to catch is how AC Shadows and other "RTGI-intended" titles perform on 9070XT, which seems like it has plenty of capability based on how it fares with Indiana Jones but more data never hurts.  Alvis Saw the truth behind the copied door Member Oct 25, 2017 12,049 EU Forced 30 FPS cutscenes is absurd.
