iPhone 17 Pro Tipped to Launch in Stunning New Sky Blue Color, Possibly Replacing Desert Titanium in September 2025, According to Supply Chain Leak
We have heard numerous details on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, but a new rumor claims that the devices will be available in a new Sky Blue color option. Previously, little to no details were available on the colors of the forthcoming iPhone 17 lineup, and this could be our very first indicator. We have to take note that the colors described by leakers and tipsters could vary, as speculations are based on early prototypes, which might not end up being the final product. iPhone 17 Pro to come in new Sky Blue color option, possibly similar to the new M4 MacBook Air models The news was shared by leaker Majin Bu , claiming that the iPhone 17 Pro models will come with a brand-new color option this year—well, sort of. The company recently introduced the M4 MacBook Air model in Sky Blue color, and if the news has heft to it, we might see the iPhone 17 Pro models in the same color. As of right now, we are not familiar with which color it would be replacing, and if it is the special color this year, our bets are on Desert Titanium. Majin Bu writes on his website: Sources close to the supply chain confirm that several iPhone 17 Pro prototypes have been made in various colors, with Sky Blue currently the frontrunner. In prototypes, it reportedly looks even more stunning than the much-loved Sierra Blue of the iPhone 13 Pro, with a brightness and refinement that make it irresistible. Unless Apple changes course at the last minute, this will be the star of the September 2025 launch event. We also have to consider that Bu has a mixed track record of sharing details related to Apple's unreleased products, but so far, we now have a color option to speculate about. If we connect the dots, Apple has never released the same color for a Mac and the iPhone in the same year, and it is the only concern that could render Majin Bu's claims as untrue. However, Apple could be looking to streamline the Mac and the iPhone models, if true, but it seems highly unlikely at this stage. If so, the company could offer a slightly different shade of blue. Apple has kept the Natural Titanium color option for two straight years now, and it is yet to be seen if the iPhone 17 Pro models will come with the same finish. Majin Bu has also added a disclaimer himself, citing that it is too early to know with certainty which direction the company is heading towards. Would you buy the Sky Blue iPhone 17 Pro?
