Dubbed Assassin’s Creed Animus, the upcoming board game will bring the vast history of AC’s incredible cast of characters to the living room… or board game room if you’re super rich. Assassin’s Creed Animus is very exciting Launching on Kickstarter, the new board game is pitched as a “thrilling and competitive board game, spanning multiple historical eras from fan-favourite games”. Available to follow right here, the board game will officially start crowdfunding sometime later in 2025. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Ubisoft to create the Assassin’s Creed board game”, said Mantic Games founder and CEO Ronnie Renton in a press release. “Fans can expect a deep respect for the franchise’s lore and history, exciting asymmetric characters, and tough gameplay choices between pursuing your own objectives while needing to maintain their edge over other players.” While few details have been confirmed regarding the upcoming board game, key art for the game shows returning characters from all era of Assassin’s Creed. Altair, the original GOAT, Ezio, and Connor from the original trilogy are joined with Eivor from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Matches in Assassin’s Creed Animus should take around 40-90 minutes. Mantic Games is well-known for its awesome, fast-paced board games. While I haven’t played a lot of the company’s board games, I have played a lot of the base version of Halo Flashpoint, a truly amazing adaptation of Halo Infinite multiplayer in board game form. After the hours-upon-hours of intense multiplayer I played with my partner, I trust Mantic to bring Assassin’s Creed to the board game format.
