The reveal date for the next Warbond is imminent, meanwhile, Helldivers 2 players are suspicious of an upcoming party announced by the developer. We don’t know for certain that anything bad is going to happen, but there’s an ominous feeling, especially as a Helldivers 2 leaker has acknowledged “something weird in the skies” of Super Earth. Helldivers 2 players sight “something weird in the skies of Super Earth” Arrowhead has announced a “singularity party” set to happen at “Free Springs Retreat, Widow’s Harbor” on May 13th. The flyer for this party teases nothing but a good time for certain citizens, but, ever since its reveal, fans have had a bad feeling reminiscent to the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones. While we don’t know for certain anything bad will happen, prominent leaker, Iron_S1ghts, has said he’s been “waiting for something to happen at Widow’s Harbor”. There’s no clue as to what this “something” is, but the leaker has shared a recent discovery. A newly created X account called Major_Truth posted, “There’s something weird in the skies! Something we’ve never seen before – right here on Super Earth!”. The post is accompanied by a video that shows two strange light orbs up in the clouds that quickly race off and disappear. Image credit: @Major_Truth on X Prominent leaker, Iron_S1ghts, shared this video, along with popular Helldivers 2 YouTuber, Cloud_Plays’, response, “Ermmmm what is this”. The leaker also said, “You’re not alone,” in a reply to Major_Truth tweeting the official Helldivers 2 X account, “I saw something weird in the skies of Super Earth today! Please see my posts”. There is a theory that the account is secretly run by Arrowhead as it’s “fairly recent,” “follows only the HD2 account,” is followed by Arrowhead community manager, miitchimus, and it posts “nothing but conspiracies”. This is by no means official, but it’s all interesting, especially with Iron_S1ghts sharing and acknowledging the posts. Fortunately, we don’t have too long to wait until May 13th to find out.
