The reveal of the next Warbond is imminent, meanwhile, just right around the corner is a suspicious “singularity party” announced by Arrowhead. However, before any of this comes to fruition, it appears Sony accidentally released a new HD2 trailer early. This new Helldivers 2 trailer has been taken down, but its mysterious nature has resulted in fans speculating about its purpose. New Helldivers 2 trailer taken down by Sony As shared on Reddit, a new Helldivers 2 trailer was released before quickly getting taken down by Sony. It was also shared by prominent leaker, Iron_S1ghts, in response to HD2 YouTuber, Thordan. Per leaker Iron_S1ghts, it “Seems like a mostly normal trailer”. This is because nothing new appears to be included. There’s no new guns or armor to show off the next Warbond that will be revealed on May 8th, nor is there anything else new. Image credit: @Iron_S1ghts on X It’s possible the trailer is just simply another way for Sony to advertise the game to get players to return and new PlayStation and Steam users to hop aboard the bandwagon. We don’t know when the trailer is supposed to be released, but it could be next week as May 13th is when the “singularity party” is scheduled, and the next update is expected, although not official. A lot of fans responding to Iron_S1ghts and on Reddit are praying that it could be an announcement for the game arriving on Xbox or Switch 2. There’s nothing to back up this hope for the game to land on more platforms, and there’s no evidence anywhere else to suggest Sony will bring HD2 to Xbox consoles. However, fans are hoping it for to happen, especially since Gears of War was just announced for the PS5, and the trailer seems to be a rallying cry for a bunch of new players to join the battle for democracy. We will have to wait for the trailer to be officially released to see if it announces anything major or if it just simply coincides with something big happening in the game. The safest bet is that it will just readvertise the game to existing and potentially new players, but here’s hoping there’s a bigger purpose.
