Sarfraz Khan • May 7, 2025 at 07:55am EDT The rumored Radeon RX 7300 gets support in the AIDA64 application, indicating the existence of the GPU despite not being announced officially. AIDA64 Updates Its Database by Adding Radeon RX 7300 GPU, a GPU That Didn't Get Announced Yet Last year, we reported that AMD is rumored to launch two entry-level RDNA 3 GPUs, the Radeon RX 7400 and the RX 7300. Neither of them made it to the market despite being rumored to be in the works. However, GPUs might exist as one of the popular PC programs that has just updated its database with one of these. AIDA64, which is a popular software for hardware monitoring, has added the Radeon RX 7300 to its GPU support list. As spotted by @Olrak29_ , the latest AIDA64 Extreme (beta) version 7.65.7415 has listed the Radeon RX 7300 under its release notes, clearly mentioning the "NAVI 33" in the brackets. The leaker Komachi Ensaka revealed this information last year, which now seems to be confirmed by AIDA64. This update to AIDA64 could mean that AMD hasn't yet ditched the plans to release the RDNA 3-based entry-level SKUs in the RX 7000 lineup. Or, it could also mean that the RX 7300 is going to be OEM-specific and won't be available for purchase like other discrete GPUs. Even though AMD has already moved to the RX 9000 series, it didn't release any entry-level options in the previous lineup, unlike the RX 6000 series, which saw both RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 for budget-oriented builds. The RX 7300 is the first X300-class GPU in the RDNA stack and is expected to bring somewhere between 640-896 SPs, 4/6GB VRAM with a 64/96-bit memory bus, and should cost in the $100-$130 range. On the other hand, the RX 7400 still needs to be confirmed and is probably going to end up with 6 GB VRAM and around 1024-1536 stream processors. These will be entry-level solutions that won't require any external power cables and will be ideal for day-to-day workloads or for powering multiple monitors for enhanced productivity. As for the RX 9000, based on the RDNA 4 architecture, we haven't heard about X400 and X300 classes till now, but we did see the Radeon RX 9050 on a website recently, indicating that AMD still might be up for budget GPUs.
