Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will have two new starting classes, Torrent skins, new weapons and armor (Eurogamer, Famitsu)

From Eurogamer, who themselves refer to a Famitsu article:
As shared by Famitsu, these classes are Knight of Ides and Heavy Knight (via machine translation). At the present time, the developer hasn't said what kind of stats these two new classes will have, so something else to keep an eye out for. Heavy Knight suggests quite a burly class, though.
According to the publication, in addition to these new classes the Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will also include three new looks for Torent, along with four new types of armour, weapons, and combat techniques.

Looks like one of the new classes will have a Milady as starting weapon, yum yum.
Tarnish me if old.

This stuff is also getting patched into the existing edition right? Also, do we know if these new starting classes are just using existing gear from the game, or are these some of the totally new sets?

It's a DLC pack, $5-$10 dollars IIRC

Putting classes behind paywall is not cool...
Threadmarks Tarnished Edition content is paid DLC on non-Switch 2 platforms

It's paid DLC on non-Switch 2 platforms, via Kadokawa:
* The new armor, torrent related features included in the "ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition" will be made available as a digital purchase on other platforms.

You can usually buy starting gear and weapons from the merchants, or in some cases they can be found in catacombs.
Don't know if that's the case here though.

It was shown at the Switch 2 Showcase. It was massively overshadowed by The Duskbloods.

And since it's published Bandai Namco, safe to assume it won't have a bundle discount if you own the base game and they end up offering a complete edition of sorts (with the expansion + DLC).
Really hate when publishers do that, as Steam offers them the option of setting bundles either as: a) "complete the set" - with discount for owners of existing content; or b) "must buy together" - no discount whatsoever and owners of previous content can't buy the bundle for themselves, even if the bundle is actually cheaper than the additional content on its own (which is ridiculous).

Paid dlc feels weird because that means the drops probably won't be integrated naturally in the world.

Guess I'm going to beat Elden Ring again huh? I've only beaten it 9 times already..I knew it would hit double digits, just didn't expect that to be because of new weapons.

They haven't announced pricing. People keep making up prices online but we still don't know what they'll actually charge. I would surprised if it was more than $5 for such a small update

Pathetic
You'd be paying for starting classes, which don't matter at all in From games, and literal horse armour.
