Intel Promises More Arc GPU Action at Computex – Battlemage Goes Pro With AI-Ready Memory Capacities
Intel has teased that its bringing more updates in its Arc "Battlemage" GPU lineup, aiming the PRO & AI segments, at Computex. Intel's Updated Arc Pro GPUs All Set For Unveil At Computex, Featuring The New Battlemage Graphics Architecture Intel has just dropped a teaser at X that it has more Arc updates coming in the form of the latest Arc Pro series, featuring the Battlemage graphics architecture. The Arc Pro lineup will target the workstation segment, which includes workflows such as AI and content creation. Although Intel is not sharing any details at the moment, we wouldn't have to wait for long since Computex is just a few weeks away. In terms of what to expect, it was recently revealed that Intel has plans to launch a higher memory capacity variant of its Arc Battlemage lineup, which would target professional workloads. A variant with 24 GB VRAM was disclosed, and it is likely that these new cards will offer double the VRAM of the existing B580 and B570 products, so 24 and 20 GB, to be exact. Currently, Intel's top Arc Pro GPU, the Arc Pro A60, features 12 GB of VRAM, so you are also going to get double the VRAM and an architectural upgrade over the current Arc Pro offerings. Another possible update could be in the form of a brand new GPU SKU. While the 192-bit and 160-bit variants are specific to the BMG-G21 GPU, the higher-end BMG-G31 GPU has been teased for a while, and we could very well see a variant of Battlemage "Arc Pro" graphics card using this specific SKU. The high-end BMG-G31 GPU is said to feature a 256-bit bus and a higher number of Xe2 cores. It will be great to see the bigger Battlemage chip in action, but it's still exciting that Intel is invested in its Arc GPU lineup and providing updates, both on the hardware and software front. Expect a lot more news to come in the next few days. Deal of the Day
