Beedrill and butterfree were pretty powerful early game, so I figured magickarp would give me something in time. Switch training. The good ole days lol I was shocked how powerful it was. It carried my first play through and was one shotting fools. Gamefreak revisited this archetype, Feebas/Milotic for example. But I still think Gyarados did it best. Gyarados don't reach its peak powers until Gen IV, and physical/special split.
