In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our projects, ensuring that every aspect of our builds meets the highest benchmarks for functionality, performance, and user experience.You will work closely with our cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and producers throughout the project lifecycle. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of ecommerce platforms, especially Shopify, will be instrumental in catching and resolving potential problems before they reach our clients.What You'll DoDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications, with a primary focus on ShopifyCreate detailed test scenarios covering key e-commerce functionalities (e.g., product browsing, cart management, checkout process)Perform thorough manual testing across various devices and browsersConduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing throughout the development lifecycleIdentify, document, and track bugs using project management tools like AsanaCollaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixesCreate and refine QA processes for both clients and internal teams, ensuring consistent quality standardsAssist in creating and maintaining testing environments that accurately reflect production scenariosPerform fundamental accessibility testing to ensure compliance with basic WCAG guidelinesMust-HavesYou have 2+ years of experience in software QA testing, preferably in web and e-commerce environmentsYou have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practicesYou have proven experience in writing detailed, comprehensive test casesYou are proficient in using project management and bug tracking tools, especially AsanaYou have excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsYou possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in EnglishYou are self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamNice-to-HavesExperience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)Strong familiarity with Shopify's ecosystem, including:Proficiency in navigating and testing the Shopify Admin interfaceDeep understanding of Shopify's theme architecture, including sections and blocksExperience with theme customization and the Theme Customizer interfaceComprehensive knowledge of Shopify's product data model, including the relationships between products, variants, collections, and metafieldsUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in accessibility testingExperience with performance and security testingHow to ApplyIf you are passionate and excel in a remote work environment, we would love to hear from you.
