First look at Enchanted Captain Hook in Disney Lorcana's Reign of Jafar set
EXCLUSIVE: Disney Lorcana's next set, Reign of Jafar, will launch in a matter of weeks, and we've got a first look at the Enchanted version of Captain Hook, The Pirate KingTech14:00, 16 May 2025Updated 14:36, 16 May 2025In case you missed it, Disney and Ravensburger's Lorcana is likely to go from strength to strength in its upcoming sets.Melding an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master card game with a huge slate of recognisable characters that should entice collectors as well as players, Lorcana has grown rapidly.After all, it's not easy to compete with Magic: The Gathering or the Pokemon TCG, but from our preview of the upcoming sets, it's clear Disney Lorcana is going nowhere.The game's next set, Reign of Jafar, hits prerelease on May 30 and lands everywhere else on June 6, meaning we're just a few weeks away from not just new cards, but 'Enchanted' versions of them, too–and Ravensburger has given us the opportunity to exclusively reveal one.Captain Hook appears in two different versions in the new setCaptain Hook will arrive in two guises in Reign of Jafar. Captain Hook, Forceful Duelist is a Common, while Captain Hook, The Pirate King is a Rare.Article continues belowIt's the latter that you can see above, with the Peter Pan baddie appearing in a slick new foil variant as part of the Enchanted lineup for the new set.He's seen with a sandy ship, presumably conjured by Jafar as part of the set's story which sees the Vizier shaping the world to his whims.If you've not seen the card before, Captain Hook, The Pirate King costs 5 Ink to play, and can be used in your Inkwell.The base art of the cardHe's a four-strength, five-willpower card and has two Lore.
