Apple is rolling out a new firmware version for AirPods Max with USB-C. The update comes with version number 7E108, up from the previous firmware version of 7E101. As always, there’s no word on what’s new with this new AirPods Max firmware update. The update is only rolling out to the AirPods Max with USB-C. There aren’t any corresponding firmware updates for other AirPods models. Apple released a notable firmware update for USB-C AirPods Max earlier this year, adding support for lossless audio and a new ultra-low latency audio feature. Today’s update likely focuses on further bug fixes and refinements, rather than adding any new features.
