Due to its popularity, its understandable that a Mobile version was released to grab even more players. However, although nothing is official right now, there are concerns that DBD Mobile could be shutting down with speculation commented on by leakers. While nothing new is happening in the world of the Mobile port, players on console and PC have a lot to look forward to for the main version of Dead By Daylight. The return of 2v8 and the release of the Chapter 34 PTB are less than a week away, and there is a lot more part of the November 2024 roadmap so far. DBD players have a lot to anticipate for the remainder of Year 9 and the eventual arrival of Year 10, but for Mobile its possible nothing is coming but an abrupt end. Is Dead By Daylight Mobile shutting down? Neither BeHaviour Interactive or Netease have announced Dead By Daylight Mobile is shutting down. However, despite the lack of official news, there is speculation within the community that a complete halt to production appears inevitable. On October 20th, DBD leaker, Dvveet, shared that Q&A posts about the games future were deleted. Not only that, but there hasnt been a new Chapter/character since July 4th, and the current rift that began on September 5th had its October 31st deadline extended until March 20th next year.In addition to the above, Dvveet added on October 21st that the Content Creator program has shut down. This is another sign that seems to suggest Everything is currently pointing towards a sudden stop to production.
