With the official reveal of the game now almost a year old, gamers are holding on for even a scrap of new information for the upcoming open-world game.However, it seems that fans may actually be onto something with this crazy sounding theory, despite many assuming theyre grasping at minuscule straws.GTA 6 teased with The MoonFans are currently convinced that Rockstar has teased the next GTA 6 reveal foe November 22, 2024. The date comes from a promotional image of GTA Online showing a character resting against a car in front of the Darnell Bros Garment Factory.In the image, fans noticed a waning gibbous, a phase between a full moon and a half moon. In the real world, the next waning gibbous phase will be on November 22, leading many to believe thats when well see the next GTA 6 trailer.While this may sound like a crazed video game conspiracy theory, GTA fans may actually be onto something. In fact, in 2023, fans had the exact same theory for another GTA Online promotional image. In that image, Rockstar also used a waning gibbous moon which was scheduled to occur on December 1, 2023. Thats when the game was officially revealed.While theres currently no explanation on why Rockstar is using moon phases to tease the next Grand Theft Auto game, it is a fun little adventure for fans. If the theory doesnt end up being truealthough it seems very plausibleits still a load of fun to follow.Still a while to goGTA 6 doesnt currently have a concrete release date, but the new open-world game is set to release sometime in August 2025 for Xbox Series and PS5.
