EHDD, a West Coast design firm known for its innovations in sustainable building technology, has announced the launch of C.Scale, a new building decarbonization software. C.Scale will be structured as a public-benefit corporation and operate independently from EHDD. Using machine learning models, the new platform sorts and analyzes carbon data, allowing AEC professionals to make climate-sensitive decisions on any scale of project. Like its progenitor, EPIC, which was released by EHDD in 2022, C.Scale will be an open-access platform.C.Scale allows architects to make climate-conscious decisions when designing buildings.
