Between advanced chassis design, driver assist technology, and an array of airbags surrounding the driver, todays car models provide excellent occupant protection. According to NHTSA's defect notice, the Tesla Cybertruck had an issue with its accelerator pedal, which could become stuck and cause unintended acceleration.
