With a new Operation now in the game, the developer has revealed that it isnt done with new PvE Operations in future updates. However, the studio has also heard complaints from PvP players who feel like theyve been left behind.Space Marine 2 new PvP contentIn a statement to fans in the latest Community Update, Saber confirmed that new PvP content will be coming to the Warhammer game in 2025. The developer explained that Space Marine 2 will continue to get new PvP content alongside the addition of expected PvE missions including new modes, maps and more.PVP Players We have heard you, and we know you feel left out, Saber explained in a statement. We will have your back in 2025 with brand new and exciting content for the PvP.In 2025, PvP players will be able to fight across a new close-quarters map that will encourage players to pay attention when turning corners. Set in a temple filled with narrow passages, shotgun users and melee combat will be encouraged.Alongside the new map, Saber is also adding custom PvP lobbies for players to set up in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. Similar to Halo custom games, players will be able to change team setups, allowing for snipers-only modes, as well as other modifiers. (Please have a gravity modifier, please.)Alongside the new PvP modes, Saber also confirmed that Season 3 of Space Marine 2 will include Prestige Rank for players to earn. After hitting Max Rank, players will be able to continue leveling up, just like in CoD.We launched Space Marine 2 on September 9 and it was a success! Saber explained in a heartfelt statement. Weve been working on it for years and it has been a work of passion and dedication. Witnessing the warm welcome the players reserved for the game was the greatest reward and the best achievement to unlock after all these relentless years.
