Alongside weapon loadouts and selecting the best stratagems, players are able to choose from a wide selection of armor pieces and capes to make their diver their own.However, it seems that Arrowhead is also working on new customisation options for players. Discovered in game files alongside the new weapon attachment system, a very early camouflage option has been found.Helldivers 2 Camo SystemFound by notorious HD2 leaker IronS1ghts, files within the multiplayer game tease a potential camouflage system for the game. Just like many other games, players may be able to assign camouflage skins to their weapons.Found alongside silenced weaponry for better stealth missions, its not known if the camouflage skins will have an effect on player detection. However, with Arrowhead keen to evolve the current game into Helldivers 3 through years of updates, there is a possibility it could be part of an enhanced stealth system.At the time of writing, the Helldivers 2 camo system is in an extremely early state. IronS1ghts explains that the current implementation doesnt even have a usable user interface, unlike the weapon attachment system.Yea, there is a camo system in the files, but it does not have a stable UI for it just yet, the leaker explained on social media.Of course, theres no promise that this system will ever end up in the game, just like the leaked wildlife system and other goodies.
