NetEase announces fix for Marvel Rivals heroes nerfed by FPS issues On Reddit, OP nyin_ showed gameplay footage and comparisons of five Marvel Rivals heroes nerfed by low FPS. The footage showed the differences between movement and damage when playing on 30FPS compared to 160FPS. The nerfed heroes are Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Venom, Star Lord, and Magik. Its possible there are more, but these are the characters backed up with gameplay evidence. This footage resulted in a lot of controversy as some fans blasted the game as pay-to-win because of players with better and more expensive hardware being rewarded with more damage and better movement. Fortunately, NetEase have now acknowledged the fault, and fixes are on the way.
