For instance, dont keep some screwdrivers in the garage and others in the kitchen, even though it seems intuitive to imagine that when you need a screwdriver while doing an indoor task, it will be handier to have one closer to you. But it's pretty basic: When you get something new, get rid of something old to make space for it. If youre following the Organizational Triangles rules, you know there needs to be a spot for everything, but space is finite. Dont cram too much into your shelves and drawers or else theyll end up cluttered, too.If a lot of items fit into a space, thats great, but in most cases, you need to be strategic about how much stuff you accumulate.
