Mampitts Community Hub, Shaftesbury
The winning team will deliver a new community hub complex funded by Section 106 developer contributions overseen by Dorset Council on an undeveloped site on the fringes of the settlement.The project planned to complete in 2026 will create a new facility with indoor and outdoor spaces for promoting social interaction, recreation, and inclusivity. This design was used to gain planning and funding approval from Dorset Council (DC) for STC to deliver the Hub.Located 32km west of Salisbury, Shaftesbury is a small Dorset town of around 9,000 residents.
