After a brutal year for the video game industry, 2025 is looking brighter and much busier if only because Rockstar Games plans to release Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2025, and Nintendo promises to deliver the Switch 2 and a bunch of new games to launch with it.Those arent the only highly anticipated sequels coming in 2025. Video game fans can also expect Ghost of Yotei, Elden Ring Nightreign, Civilization 7, Death Stranding 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, Borderlands 4, the new Fable, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Monster Hunter Wilds, Pokmon Legends: Z-A, and Slay the Spire 2. Beyond sequels, there are some other big bets on the calendar for 2025, like Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Judas, Riots fighting game 2XKO, and South of Midnight.
