Fans can still get free rewards from this update as part of an apology from the developer, but the patch is now out and has added a lot more than just Ines Raya to TFD. Update 1.2.4 has reworked three heroes, and the new character reworks for The First Descendant are huge, but theyre also a mixed bag.New The First Descendant character reworksThe First Descendant character reworks part of update 1.2.4 are as follows:Valby:Clean up:Added the ability to jump while using the Clean Up skillLaundry Bomb:Laundry Bomb now fires faster and can absorb others to grow larger and deal more damageJayber:Assault Turret, Medial TurretGun:Turrets can now be re-summoned directly without retrieval.Multi-purpose Gun:The Multi-purpose Gun creates a 3M blast area, with an increased magazine capacity (3-12)Luna:Stage presence:Improved Lunas unique weapon usability and note failure penalties with animationsPassionate Stage, Relaxing Act, Delightful Stage:Improved cooldown application and overall skill cooldownsEnhanced Skills now allow to move on a disk-shaped stageYou can see all of the above reworks in action from the official FirstDescendant X account below:The reworks for Valby are particularly great, and theyre good for Luna, too. Unfortunately, players are disappointed with the rework for Jayber.In the replies on X, there are comments such as, I beg you TFD developers. Please give Jaybers turrets some damage. While they look cool they cant even keep up with the damage that everyone can do.There are other replies such as, Erm, Jayber needs another go, this aint it boys, along with, Unless his turrets follow him Jayber is a wasted character slot. Theres also another reply that says, Jayber adjustment is a joke. I wish you guys would not just focus on making the females op.Although not explicitly stated, its pretty clear that the females receive more work and better cosmetics and buffs because theyre easily the most popular characters in TFD.
