OK, you can keep playing as the new Vessel of Hatred class if you'd like, but Season 7 is here and as always, Blizzard suggests rolling a fresh character to see how you like mixing it up (although you may have already got started on the PTR 2.1)The new season is dubbed 'Season of Witchcraft', and packs a whole host of new mechanics, as well as fresh enemies. The headline additions are four different schools of Witchcraft spells that players can wield, letting them tear through the enemies of Sanctuary even more quickly.And, while Path of Exile 2 just dropped its own patch, it's great to have another reason to jump into Diablo 4.Diablo 4's latest season launched on January 21 at 6 PM for UK gamers.That's 10 AM PST, 1 PM EST, or 7 PM CET for the rest of the world. Expect some server queues as players look to login and get slaying.Diablo 4 Season 7 is packedSeason 6 launched all the way back in October with the (excellent) Vessel of Hatred, so it's been a little while since we've had new content to play.Thankfully, Blizzard's latest season is full of content. Here are the headlines, courtesy of Blizzard.I'm excited to test out the new Witch powers in Diablo 4's latest PTR(Image: Blizzard)It wouldn't be the Season of Witchcraft if we didn't get new powers, and thankfully Blizzard is offering four new types in Eldritch, Psyche, Growth/Decay and Lost magic.These can seemingly be slotted in among your own skills, letting you heal, harm, cause destruction and even create nightmarish visions for enemies.The new Witch Powers could make big changes to endgame builds(Image: Blizzard)New enemies, the Headrotten, make their full debut.
