After a two-day outage during which Marvel Snap players were unable to access the game, the developer behind the successful Marvel-branded CCG brought services back online on Monday evening. Marvel Snap developer Second Dinner said its looking for a new publisher to partner with, in hopes that it will avoid any future disruptions to the game.Marvel Snap is back online in the U.S., Second Dinner chief development officer Ben Brode announced on the games official Discord on Monday. But to make sure this NEVER happens again, were working to bring more services in-house and partner with a new publisher.Marvel Snap is published by Chinese game company Nuverse, a subsidiary of TikTok owner ByteDance. Snap went offline on Saturday and was removed from app stores in the wake of an expected ban on social media app TikTok, a ban that has since been stayed. Second Dinner said Saturday that it was a surprise that the game had been affected by TikToks removal from app stores and promised that Snapisnt going anywhere.On Monday, Brode declared that the return of the card game signaled a new era for Marvel Snap, but did not elaborate on what that meant.
