Instead of prioritising new additions, developer Raven Software has decided to push back new content to ensure bug fixes and quality-of-life updates have their desired impact.Warzone Season 2 will have less contentDuring the community update published on January 17th, 2025, the Warzone developer is focused on improving the battle royale before adding new weaponry and other mechanics to spice up the action.Weve made the decision to prioritise focus on gameplay tuning, adding more quality of life, and addressing ongoing bugs. This means that in order to deliver meaningful improvements to our players, new content originally planned for Season 2 has been shifted to create bandwidth to address foundational issues.The post also reveals the mid-season update will also arrive with quite a few quality of life changes making Season 2 an update of fixing rather than introducing new items that have the potential to cause further issues.So far, a total of 25 gameplay adjustments and updates have been showcased.
