As for how farming will be improved, Nexon aim to enhance [the] fun elements of the Component System, and This will require system-level changes, so it is being approached as a long-term plan rather than a simple farming improvement. In regard to Void Abyss Metal Fragments, [Nexon] plan to increase the reward from 400% Infiltration Operations to 40 pieces and are considering additional supplies through events.Image credit: The First Descendant DiscordImproving weak charactersAlongside plans to improve farming, the director also discussed Nexons intentions to buff characters dubbed weak by players. In response to a question about Nexons philosophy towards balancing, Jooms said, our approach is not to stick to our own ideas but to embrace community feedback, verify through data, and address shortcomings. The director promised that Nexon are in the process of adjusting the weaker [characters] to match the level of more powerful Descendants that exist. Recently Nexon released reworks for Valby, Luna, and Jayber, but this was a mixed bag, and resulted in accusations of Nexon prioritising female characters over male. One of the characters mentioned by the director is Yujin. Jooms believes improvements are necessary to make Yujin more effective and convenient for solo play, and the developers hope to make him more accessible to a broader range of players. There are also plans to rework Jayber again following the negative feedback from players.Image credit: The First Descendant DiscordIn more The First Descendant news, players can check out the2025 roadmap. The First DescendantPlatform(s):PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series XGenre(s):Action, Adventure, RPG5VideoGamerSubscribe to our newsletters!By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy Policy and may receive occasional deal communications; you can unsubscribe anytime.Share
