Rockfishs next expansion for Everspace 2, Wrath of the Ancients, will launch in Spring. It sees the player venturing to the Okkar homeworlds and Aethon to investigate mysterious attacks on various human settlements. Check out the announcement trailer below.Four new star systems open up, with new weapons, puzzles, Okkar equipment, and more. You can also pilot the new Wraith Okkar fighter (which unleashes special abilities after destroying enemy ships), and take on fresh enemies and bosses. New side quests centered on the Okkar also open up during the campaign, but the meat of the expansions story occurs afterwards.If all this isnt enough, Rockfish Games also promises new music tracks for every aspect, including combat. More details will be revealed about Wrath of the Ancients in the coming months, so stay tuned.
