WWE 2K25 has finally been officially revealed, and you can play it in just a few weeks here's all we've learned about the next grappling game so far, including the staggering rosterNews13:00, 28 Jan 2025Updated 13:12, 28 Jan 2025Roman Reigns might be the star this year, but that Taker cover is incredibleWWE is back in a big way thanks to its arrival on Netflix, and it's picking up new and lapsed fans alike.A new year brings a new opportunity to step into the virtual ring, too, and while WWE had been sharing screenshots of its stars recreated in WWE 2K25, the game has now finally been revealed in full.With three versions, an absolutely stacked roster, and one of the best cover art options in history, here's everything we know about the game so far including when you can play it.Content cannot be displayed without consentAs we revealed earlier this month, the WWE universe was building towards January 27 and the company finally revealed WWE 2K25 at RAW last night.Available in three editions, the game will launch on March 14, 2025, but is available earlier if you pick up the Deadman Edition or Bloodline Edition.As rumoured, Roman Reigns adorns the cover of the standard edition, while the Tribal Chief also appears on the Bloodline cover flanked by Solo Sikoa, Jey and Jimmy Uso, Paul Heyman, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.I am personally and professionally excited that the Original and Only Tribal Chief and the extended Anoai family are the focus of WWE 2K25, said Roman Reigns in a press release.CM Punk is back having been DLC for last year's gameWeve been building toward this moment for generations and I challenge players everywhere to show me and my Wiseman, Paul Heyman, what theyve got, and prove theyre worthy of the attention of their Tribal Chief.The Bloodline and Deadman editions allow players to jump into the game on March 7. Preorders of the standard edition include the Wyatt Sicks Pack which adds Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy and Erick Rowan.The pack is included in the Deadman Edition, too, as well as an Undertaker "Greatest Hits" skin from Mattel and additional cosmetics, and 15,000 VC.All of the above are included in the Bloodline Edition, as well as the Season Pass (Ringside Pass) which includes an exclusive Rock Nation of Domination Persona card and superstar variant, bonus versions of Jey Uso and Roman Reigns, additional cosmetics and even more VC (32,500).Aside from the glitzy new editions, this year's 2K Showcase is focused on The Bloodline and is hosted by "The Wiseman" Paul Heyman.There are also new match types, including Chain Wrestling, Bloodline Rules, Underground Match, and the long-awaited debut of intergender wrestling, as well as online multiplayer in MyGM mode for up to four players.A new area, The Island, will offer "an interactive world made up of a series of areas built around different WWE themes" and sounds a lot like NBA 2K's The City as players duke it out to earn a WWE contract. It'll only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which might disappoint PC players.As far as rosters go, though, we can't see anyone being disappointed.
