The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its honorees for 2025 Scientific and Technical Achievement, naming Ziva VFX for a Technical Achievement Award. The accolade recognizes the excellence of the work done by the Ziva team in service to the motion picture industry through their innovative toolset for the highly realistic creation of digital characters.Today, part of DNEG, Ziva VFX is famous for its high-tech system of constructing and simulating muscles, fat, fascia, and skin. The advanced simulation features along with the power of machine learning-driven real-time character creation, have enabled unprecedented accuracy and efficiency in creature effects.
