After a middling launch, Marvels Spider-Man 2 has received its first hotfix on PC. According to the development team, it addresses hang crashes that occurred while playing with ray tracing enabled. While it doesnt address other crashes (which the team is aware of), We intend to get these first fixes out as soon as possible.In the meantime, it continues to closely monitor crashes. Our QA and development teams are actively investigating and working on additional patches to further improve stability and address bugs as soon as possible.Marvels Spider-Man 2 launched on January 30th for PC with little fanfare or marketing and immediately received a Mixed rating on Steam due to various issues. Thus far, players have reported iffy lighting in cutscenes, freezing, artifacting, and more. Some also report problems when enabling AMD FSRs Frame Generation such as stutters and occasional crashes.Despite all this, the open-world title reached 27,775 peak concurrent players on the storefront.
