Besides skins, owners of the pass were also able to unlock a couple of iconic emotes, such as The Worm.With the return of OG Season 2 on January 31, many members of the community believe that Epic will bring back the original Battle Pass as well. From the very first Battle Pass, Epic Games clarified that the included cosmetics are exclusive. However, the first Fortnite season did not have a Battle Pass. Instead, it had a so-called Season Shop, which was never meant to be exclusive.Back in the summer of 2024, the company made seasonal passes non-exclusive. Starting with Chapter 5 Season 3, items from the passes may come to the Item Shop in the future. While this is a positive change for new players, Epic made it clear that it doesnt affect older passes.
