PlayStation users will get an additional few days of PlayStation Plus as an apology from Sony for yesterday's mass PSN outage, but for some it's not enough here's all we knowTech15:21, 10 Feb 2025Could we see Wolverine this week?The PlayStation outage is over, with Sony announcing things have been fixed, and while we're expecting a freebie from the company, there could be more exciting news.We should know the new PS Plus Extra games this week, but one insider has tipped Sony for another State of Play event.The events, which showcase upcoming releases for the blue brand and some third-party titles, has been rumoured for a while, but the same insider that predicted the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal date has seemingly hinted it could be a Valentine's Day gift for gamers.Content cannot be displayed without consentResponding to a question about a State of Play event still coming in February, NateTheHate2 said "what does your heart tell you?".While that could be a subtle nod towards Valentines Day, there's no guarantee of that but it certainly seems that way.So, what could such an event showcase? Sony has two big-hitters slated for 2025 in Ghost of Yotei (the successor to Ghost of Tsushima) and Death Stranding 2.Still, we've not seen anything about Wolverine from Insomniac Games, with the game first revealed in 2021. The infamous Insomniac leak revealed that the studio planned to launch it in 2026, but with a Venom game emerging before then could we see something from the Spider-Man and Ratchet and Clank team this week?You can check out the Wolverine reveal trailer below.Looking at the wider gaming landscape, Microsoft and Nintendo have already held events this year.
