Fortnite's long-term partnership with Disney is reportedly closer to reaching fruition as one insider says the collab island has moved to a 'stable' build here's all we knowTech18:18, 10 Feb 2025The Fortnite and Disney crossover appears to be getting closerFortnite Chapter 6 is the game's present, but the future could lie in Epic Games' partnership with one of the biggest brands in the world: Disney.Just over a year to the day since Epic Games and Disney announced a staggering partnership that would see Disney invest $1.5billion into the Fortnite developer, a new 'leak' has suggested we might hear more on the project sooner rather than later.Posting on X (formerly Twitter), longtime Fortnite leaker Hypex said that on the anniversary of the announcement, things have begun developing nicely, meaning the 'soon(ish)' release window from the initial reveal could be, well, soon.Content cannot be displayed without consent"Fortnite moved the Disney Collab today into a 'Stable' build/branch," Hypex explained, before responding to a fan's question about what it means."They probably made a lot of progress and moved into the next roadmap milestone," they added.As for what the crossover entails, we only have a short teaser trailer to go off of, seemingly showing a series of 'Islands' with their own theming after Disney properties including Marvel, Lucasfilm, and even ESPN.You can check it out below, but if it's anything like the clip suggests, it'll basically be a full-blown DIsney theme park.
