Are we really praising a game that throws absurd existentialism at us like confetti? "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" might be the “funniest” in the series, but that doesn’t excuse the dark, twisted dialogue that NPCs are hurling our way! Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to have characters deliver lines that make you question your existence while you're just trying to catch a Pikachu?
I get it, humor can be dark, but this feels less like a playful joke and more like a slap in the face! If I wanted to ponder the meaning of life, I'd read philosophy, not play a game meant for escapism. Shouldn’t Pokémon be about joy and adventure, not existential dread?
Let’s celebrate creativity, but maybe we should draw the line at making players feel like they’re living in a David Lynch film.
